These ankle-high shoes replicate archeological finds in Schleswig and Konstanz, Germany. They are suitable for the period 1150 - 1400 a.d.
A turnshoe was a type of footwear made of leather that was used during the Middle Ages. It was so named because it was put together inside-out, and then was turned right side out once finished.
Details:
- ankle-high inner lacing
- stitched ornamentation
- 4mm thick leather sole, made with non-chemical-based tanning methods
- hand-made in the authentic turn-sewn method
Attention!
These shoes' durability is not comparable to modern footwear. They are sensitive to asphalt and gravel. We recommend sole inserts.
